In times of crisis, there are times where people need to be able to know that there is not going to be any panic or any problems in times of struggle. When 9/11 happened, everyone in the country was worried, no one knew if we were going to be safe, and many were asking if a war was going to break out or not. Could everyone find a way to fix the mess that was created and who could we trust in that time. The media industry all knew that the people needed to know that nothing bad was going to happen. At the time, they were able to show that we were recovering, all of those who had the great responsibility to fix the problems were doing everything to get the country back in order and they were able to help show everyone coming together knowing that we need to be able to stay strong as one. That is not what is happening with the media today.
Today we see media outlets not being able to show much unity anymore. We mostly see the media creating division and struggle for everyone. We rarely see those that are achieving great success and doing any good in the world. Just recently, we saw the media not being able to keep the world calm or staying out of a panic. The media is creating division by showing so hate and struggle for everyone it seems like we the people have forgotten what it is like for everyone to be successful, how we could be living together successfully as one and knowing that we all can be great when we are together as one.
We should remember what it is like to see everyone having great success. We need to remember that the media needs to be able to balance out what is good and what is bad so we could be greatly successful. So, we can stop creating the division and panic that has come in the world. We are all equal and we all deserve to have no hate or panic in our lives anymore. We need to get the media back to where it should be about telling great stories and making sure we know what is right and what needs to be improved upon in the country.
