Farewell to the Pope

The world was watching one April 26,2025 to bid farewell to Pope Francis as his funeral took place in the Vatican and the funeral arrangements he wanted took place before he was laid to rest. Over 300,000 people came to pay their respects to the pope who had seen his health decline in the last few months. Many are still shocked regardless of if they are religious or not because the Pope had celebrated Easter Sunday praying for the world on that sacred day and praying for the celebration that everyone remember what Jesus Christ did for the people and to celebrate him always. Many had said that it was like a farewell to the people without us even knowing he would be leaving home to Heaven the next day. It is saddening that Pope Francis has passed and left his people here on earth, but his memory cares on and the Catholic Church will go on. The Church will now do its best to select the next pope and help for those that are still mourning the lost to know that everything is going to be ok.

The funeral for Pope Franics was a sad occasion, but it was also a celebration of his life with him leading the Catholic Church for over twelve years and helping the people for anything that was going on in their lives. The Pope would visit the sick and pray for their recovery, he would feed the homeless to do what the people have always been told to do, and he would care for the sick children of the world and pray for them to not be sick anymore. The funeral had the traditional Catholic ways of praying for the soul of Pope Francis, doing the Eucharistic prayer for his life and for leading his soul into heaven. Many would search for the best place to get just a glimpse of his coffin where he will be resting for the rest of his life and to see the mass that was taking place to be able to see the way the world is to say goodbye to a Pope. It was an amazing day of coverage from the news where they finally did their job of not putting their own beliefs into the views and just followed the way of the Church had the mass schedule to help the Pope be in his resting place.
